I am passionate about equipping teenagers with the tools they need to become confident singers.  I work within the goals the students have for themselves, i.e. Region/Allstate Auditions, and work with them to progress towards those goals. We also work on the fundamentals of healthy vocal technique and tone placement. Having been a choir director for 15 years, I also see the benefit of private voice instruction to enhance the ensemble. Students learn to focus on the "me" thing of become a confident solo singer, and turn it into a "we" thing become an integral part of their musical ensembles as a leader.
